Birdwire Stick On Posts
Where no drilling is allowed, special sized posts can be used with a plastic base, which is then stuck in place. These can be supplied ready assembled, or as separate components.
As there will be a lot of sideways tension on these posts, it is essential that the surface is firm and the glue has fully set before the wires are attached. Ideally a flexible glue such as FIXALL should be used, but this glue takes time to cure and may take a number of days to do so in cold weather.
Alternatively an "instant set" glue could be used. We recommend the use of a degreaser such as Soudall Surface Activator to ensure that the glue's adhesion is not affected by oil or grease.
